I had a similar issue trying to connect my iPhone to a Canon printer over WiFi, and it turned out the problem wasn’t with the printer or phone settings, but with the network itself. I was connected through a piso wifi vendo system, and the session was managed via 10.0.0.1 piso wifi vendo pause windows.
If anyone here is using a shared or vending-based WiFi setup (like piso wifi), make sure to pause your session temporarily using the 10.0.0.1 portal before connecting your printer. These networks sometimes block device-to-device communication, which can stop AirPrint or Canon’s app from detecting the printer properly. Once paused, I reconnected and my iPhone detected the Canon printer instantly. Hope this helps someone else using similar networks!
